Solar Lights - Usage and Safety

• Make sure placement of solar lights will not create a dangerous glare.
• Check for darkened areas that are made by solar cross lighting, or that are naturally occurring.
• Correctly install all solar light systems according to directions, such as using correct bolts, spikes and vertical or horizontal placement.
• Be aware of the need for spacing to accommodate foot traffic and machines.
• Evaluate other lighting sources from street lights and neighbors, which can negatively impact safety.
• Consider all solar lighting placements outside that could promote dangerous accidents inside, such as powerful spotlights, or other types of security lighting systems.
• Install solar powered lights into the correct material, such as wood, concrete or gravel and maintain.
• Check periodically battery back up for safety reasons.

• Solar Carriage Lantern Light - The old style of carriage lights are a beautiful addition to gardens, front doors or brick walls. They may be placed on a wooden gate or post too. Light illumination is traditionally white and medium intensity.
• Solar Lamp Post Light - The traditional lamp post light is reaching new heights to accommodate taller security or privacy fencing. They may be used without a pole attachment too. The lights are particularly lovely along patios and driveways. Illumination is white and bright.
• Solar Highlight Spot Light - Solar highlights create a wonderful directional glow to garden plants or small trees in yards, and they lighten up dark areas and steps. A choice of color is available which range from white to amber. Highlights have a medium intensity light.
• Solar Recessed Ground Light - Customarily used around pool and patio areas, but may be placed in gravel, garden or driveway. Colors are white, red or green.
• Solar Floodlight - This powerful light can be ground or wall mounted for extra security and safety around your home or garden. Brick walls are nicely up lighted when staked at ground level as well as larger trees. Particularly useful for lighting flag poles. Typically color output is white and extremely bright.
• Solar Column Light - High light output, but excellent for use as a creative design, or along entrance ways too. Bright white light is the ordinary custom color.
• Solar Residential Address Light - May be used on house, or other vertical surface such as fencing or post. Alternating color for easy daytime and night view ability.

• Solar Plant Rotator - No longer rotate plants by hand in hanging baskets because the solar powered plant rotator will do it for you. The rotator runs even in low light.
• Solar Mosquito Repel Unit - Runs day and night because of a rechargeable battery and solar power. The pesky little bugs cannot annoy you because of an active ingredient that leaves them unable to sense your aroma.
• Solar Lighted Bird Bath – The solar powered bird bath is unique because it sprays only if direct sun light is available, and there are no wires to deal with or change.
• Solar Lighted Bird Feeder - Not only a bird feeder, but is also a light at night for your garden, pathway or drive.
• Solar Lighted Pathway Markers – Lovely in a garden or even a front lawn sidewalk.
